I am pleased to bring you another incredible TEDxStanleyPark speaker,Claire Snyman. The healthcare process can be very scary and confusing, for both the patient and their loved ones. There are a variety of reasons medical issues fall through the cracks, whether it’s lack of time or simply human error. The difficulties of the healthcare journey, including the patient’s quality of life, is something Claire Snyman knows all too well.
Claire’s life was just like any other before she was diagnosed with what would turn out to be a malignant brain tumor. Throughout her journey, she has had to struggle emotionally, mentally, and physically to overcome the odds and get her life back on track. Now, Claire is using her second chance at life to try and help other people with life threatening illnesses.
