“Everyone is valuable. no matter what. Fat, thin, tall short, whatever. All bodies are good bodies.”

How many of us look in the mirror only to feel disgust or sadness? How many look at others and judge their weight to try and feel a little bit better about ourselves?. We spend so much time and energy thinking about ways to be thinner as if this is the key to happiness. Thinness does not equate happiness and health does not equate respect. My guest this week, TEDxStanleyPark speaker Victoria Welsby knows all about this topic.
Victoria spent many years treating herself badly and allowing others to do the same. She thought, due to her weight, that she did not deserve the respect and love reserved for “healthy” people. Years later, she is full of self love and acceptance; ready to empower other women to bolden their confidence no matter their size.
Weight and confidence is an issue we all struggle with. Why not take a different route to happiness? Victoria seems to know the way. If you have not seen Victoria’s talk from beginning to end, I highly recommend check it out as soon as you can (keeping in mind the end has a little surprise! You can see it here!)
