“Standing on your story is taking a firm stance and saying this doesn’t define me. It’s just what happened...
The reality is that there is something in each of our stories that will help propel us to the next place.”

For this week’s episode, I had the pleasure to sit down with Jo Dibblee and discuss her incredible journey. While most people can pinpoint one or maybe two huge obstacles in their lives that impacted them, Jo Dibblee’s list goes on much longer. The real fascinating thing, however, is that even with all the trauma that Jo has experience in her life, she is a bright beam of positivity.
Throughout her childhood, Jo faced what no child should ever have to. As time advanced, she went on to face something no person should ever have to, living under the protective services, hiding from a murder. She would live 15 different aliases throughout her time in hiding. Even though all that, Jo Dibblee persevered.
She now lives her life open and honestly. She has even decided to give back and help other women, although most likely without similar stories, remove their masks. After all, you do not have to be hiding from someone to learn how to wear a mask and hide who you really are.
Jo’s story is incredible and I know you will truly enjoy it as she is the epitome of succeeding against the odds. We could all learn a thing or two from Jo Dibblee, why not start here?
