"You can pick and choose. You don't have to conform to the culture that is bestowed upon you."
Cindy Chan Phillips helps career women in their 50s to stop the damage from cycles of weight loss and weight regain, by loving themselves with eating and listening to the body. So that they have the energy to do the things they love.
She helps women break free from the guilt and shame from the cravings, over-eating. The cycle continues without fixing this one thing - repairing the toxic relationship with food and self. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Cindy has hidden her Chinese heritage from the Western eyes for years out of fear of being thought less credible. For women who are hiding the fact they sneak to the kitchen at night when husbands sleep. She knows what it’s like to hide. She was the primary dietitian of a hospital critical care unit and the nutrition education director for a non-profit agricultural organization in New York state for 8 years. Cindy is a registered dietitian with a Master degree in Nutrition Science and super geek on what drives human behavior. Super proud to have spoken at wellness conferences and written articles published in medical journals. Today She is bringing the Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective to help women be free, be confident and be healthy. Mother of twins, She is a self-crowned stir-fry queen. The 5 lbs. carbon steel wok will be among the items to grab if an emergency exit was to occur. |
